The original part of the building has been constructed in 1909 and was designed by one of the most known architects in Finland Lars Sonck. The building’s façade is very impressive, and the property is protected by the Decree on the Protection of State-owned Buildings.

Surroundings
The building is located in the heart of Helsinki city centre along the Esplanadi park. The area is very distinguished, and the site is visible as the park opens the view. The property is easily accessed with various means of transportation. The city centre of Helsinki has excellent pedestrian and bicycling roads, and the closest tram stops to the property are located approx. 300 metres away. The main railway station, subway and a bus terminal are located approx. 600 metres away.
